Ferry to Gozo 13th August 2023

Hello all,
I'm travelling to Gozo on 13.8.23 and I'm a bit concerned about getting the ferry over due to the fiesta. I can't get to the port until about 7pm as flight lands at 5pm a friend told me I could wait hours and having small kids, want to see if it's worth spending the night and trying the next day. I'm hiring a car so ferry is my only option' Am I worrying for no reason?
Will it be really busy on a Saturday, 2 days before The Feast of Santa Marija?
Any advice is appreciated
